Welcome to the forest! Oink! is a funny, playful, and heartfelt reimagining of The Three Little Pigs, set in a distinctly Squamish world of forests, mountain culture, development, and community.
Three very different sisters set out to find a place to call home and encounter property developers, influencers, mountain bikers, fairies, a bear, a Sasquatch—and plenty of unexpected challenges along the way.
With comedy, physical theatre, music, storytelling, and audience interaction, Oink! is a celebration of home, community, and finding your place in the world.
PIP — Creative, resourceful, nature-loving, and always ready to fix something. A maker and a knitter who believes home is wherever she lands.
POPPY — Pip’s sister. A climber, van-dweller, snack collector, and dryly funny free spirit who secretly longs for a place to call home.
PORK — An architect and enthusiastic over-thinker who believes every problem can be solved with a blueprint and a clipboard.
CONNIE C’RUPT — A wildly ambitious property developer who sees forests as future parking lots. Immaculate, relentlessly upbeat, and full of corporate buzzwords.
JESSICA WOW — A flamboyant realtor, former pro snowboarder, and serial career-changer who lives for applause, bargains, and dramatic entrances.
RILEY “CRASH” JAY — A fearless mountain biker with boundless enthusiasm and terrible luck. Crashes into almost everything but always gets back up.
OLD CEDAR MAC — An elderly carpenter, former logger, and keeper of local stories. Quietly funny, thoughtful, and stronger than he looks.
SKY RAINBOW — A stylish, energetic social media influencer who is always chasing the next viral moment.
OCEAN FAIRY — Sky’s influencer partner and creative collaborator. Thoughtful beneath the hashtags and ring lights.
BEAR — Permanently hungry, curious, and gloriously unapologetic. Appears whenever chaos is brewing.
SASQUATCH — A quiet, gentle legend of the forest who speaks rarely but never wastes a word.
ENSEMBLE OF TREES — Tree One, Tree Two & Tree Three — The storytellers of the forest. They sing, dance, narrate, and engage with the audience. Tree Three is the eccentric outsider who gradually becomes the heart of the forest.
